Hi, I'm Debbie, and photography has been my passion for over four decades. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing my friend's enchanting flower garden, where one particular bloom stole my heart – her pink dahlia.

During the spring, strolling through her garden was a breeze. The vivid colors danced before my eyes, the fragrances mingled like a symphony, and the warmth of impending summer embraced me. Running my fingers over the delicate petals, they felt as soft and gentle as my own skin.

Yet, every journey has its hurdles. Sometimes, the wind would challenge me while I tried to capture the perfect shot. But amidst these struggles, I found solace in knowing that with every click of my shutter, I aimed to immortalize the flower in a unique and extraordinary way.

About Dahlias
Dahlias are awesome plants that grow in places like Mexico and Central America and America. They're like the cool cousins of flowers, hanging out in the Asteraceae family with sunflowers, daisies, chrysanthemums, and zinnias.

Dahlias are like those bushy friends in your garden that always stand out. They have these cool, chunky roots underground called tubers, and they're always ready to show off their colorful petals. From soft pastels to fiery reds, they've got a color for every mood.
