My name is Debbie and for over four decades, my life has been intertwined with the artistry of photography. From the tactile click of film cameras to the digital precision of today, each snapshot has been a testament to my unwavering passion. Through my lens, I've captured moments of beauty, emotion, and life's myriad intricacies, finding joy and purpose in every frame.

In my journey as a photographer, I've encountered numerous obstacles, from technical challenges to creative blocks. Yet, through perseverance and determination, I've learned to navigate these hurdles, emerging stronger and more resilient with each setback. One detour of my journey was getting flogged by my daughter's rooster. I asked her if I could go in the pen and photograph her chickens, she said yes but her rooster said NO!!! Freaked me out and I escaped by the hair of my chinny chin chin! That's never a good experience. I felt blindsided.

Amidst the trials and tribulations, there have always been saving graces—those special qualities that sustain and inspire me. Whether it's the play of light on a dew-kissed petal or the raw emotion captured in a fleeting glance, these moments of beauty remind me why I picked up the camera in the first place.

My journey through the lens is not just visual but multisensory, engaging all five senses. I can still recall the crisp snap of the shutter, the earthy scent of the forest after rain, the gentle hum of a bustling city street. Each sense adds depth and dimension to my photographs, allowing viewers to immerse themselves fully in the captured moment.

Like any creative pursuit, my path as a photographer has been punctuated by moments of darkness—times when inspiration waned, and doubt crept in.
