My name is Debbie and as a landscape photographer with over 45 years of experience, my journey has been a tapestry of moments, challenges, and triumphs. The heart of my work beats strongest for Wallowa Lake, a gem hidden in Northeastern Oregon, where every season paints a new personality on its canvas. Living in Wallowa County has allowed me the privilege to capture these shifting moods, whether it’s the spellbinding beauty of a snow-covered winter or the vibrant colors of a summer day.

My love affair with photography began with a Kodak 110 pocket camera, a birthday gift that ignited a lifelong passion. Over the years, I've progressed through various cameras, honing my skills through countless frames of film and pixels, each click bringing me closer to capturing that elusive perfect shot. Photography, for me, isn't just about the technicalities; it's about the connection, the story each image tells, and the emotions it evokes.

Wallowa Lake isn't just a destination; it's my muse. The 30-mile journey from my home, especially in winter's grip, requires patience and courage, but the rewards are worth every challenge. The lake's landscape, whether draped in snow or bathed in summer light, offers a constant source of inspiration. Despite the biting cold or the obstructive smoke of fire season, my drive to capture the lake's essence never wanes.

nail in the wall.
Canvas Prints are a well-known, high-end way of displaying photographs.
.75/1.5 inch thick (depending on size of print ordered) wooden stretcher-bars that give it shape, in
the same way an oil painting is traditionally assembled. There are no staples or
ugly lines visible on the sides (very important).
